Ronda puts you on a video call with someone new, at random. No profiles to scroll through and nobody to swipe on — just the next person, and then the one after that.

18+Adults only. We verify it.

Random video chat with strangers

Most ways of meeting people online ask you to choose first. You read a profile, look at some photographs, and decide whether somebody is worth your time before you have heard them say anything. Ronda works the other way round: you join a queue, and whoever is next is who you are talking to.

What that buys you is the part you cannot arrange for yourself. You end up talking to people you would never have picked out of a list, in places you were not thinking about, and every call starts from nothing — no history, no context, no idea what the next thirty seconds hold.

What is a random video chat?

A random video chat is a live one-to-one video call with a person you have not chosen and who has not chosen you. You press a button, the site pairs you with somebody else who pressed the same button, and the two of you are on camera together within a second or two. If it is not working, you skip, and you are back in the queue.

On Ronda every call is private and one to one. There is no room, no audience, and nobody watching from the side — what you say goes to one person. Calls are not recorded or stored by us, and recording somebody without their consent is grounds for removal.

Why talk to random people at all?

Your language stops mattering

Typed chat is translated both ways as you go, in over thirty languages, and you can change language in the middle of a call without leaving it. Somebody being on the other side of the world, speaking something you have never studied, is no longer a reason you cannot talk to them.

Nothing to arrange

No profile to write, no photographs to pick, no waiting for somebody to reply tomorrow. The gap between deciding you want to talk to a person and talking to a person is about two seconds.

Real people, checked

Everyone is 18 or over and verified before they can appear on a call. Accounts on the paid side are identity-checked and approved by hand before their first call.

Leaving is easy

End any call instantly, for any reason or none, and the person you end it on is not told why. Anyone you turn down twice stops being able to see you at all.

How to start a random video chat on Ronda

  1. 1

    Create an account

Email, a password, a username, and whether you are here to meet people or to be paid for your time. That last choice is fixed once it is made, because it decides which side of the service you are on.

  2. 2

    Get verified

Everyone confirms they are 18 or over. If you are joining the paid side there is an identity check as well, and a person approves it before your first call.

  3. 3

    Turn your camera on

You see yourself before anyone else does. Fix the lighting, fix the angle, pick a different camera or microphone if you have more than one — all while nobody is watching.

  4. 4

    Press start

We find somebody who is also waiting and put you both straight into the call. Nobody rings and nobody has to answer, so there is no ringing phone and no awkward pause.

  5. 5

    Talk, or skip

The first few seconds of every call are free — long enough to see whether either of you wants to stay. Press next and you are back in the queue immediately, and you will not be handed the same person again.

  6. 6

    Keep the good ones

If a call goes well you can add each other. Friends show up on your home page when they are online, and you can call them directly instead of going back through the queue.

What every button does

Press any button below to find out what it does. Nothing here is live.

What every button does

Two sides, and they work differently

If you are here to meet people

You buy time in advance and it is spent by the minute while you are actually on a call. Nothing runs down while you are waiting, browsing, or chatting to people you have already met.

No subscription and no auto-renewal. When your time runs out, nothing happens except that you stop being matched — there is no charge waiting for you and nothing to cancel.

If you are here to earn

Women on Ronda are paid for every minute spent on calls, and the balance is withdrawable. You choose when you are available, you can appear offline whenever you want, and you can end any call at any moment.

Joining this side means an identity check first. It is the same check that keeps anyone under 18 off the platform, so it is not optional and it is not quick to fake.

Getting the most out of it

Fix your lighting before you fix anything else

A window in front of you beats any camera. A window behind you turns you into a silhouette, and the person on the other end is deciding whether to stay in the first two seconds.

Say something first

Both of you have just been dropped into a call with a stranger and both of you are waiting to see who moves. Being the one who moves is most of the difference between a good call and thirty seconds of silence.

Use the chat when the words run out

It translates as you type, so a place name, a band, or a single word you cannot pronounce will get through. Some of the best calls on a site like this are half spoken and half typed.

Skipping is not rude

It is the mechanism. Everyone here is doing it, everyone here expects it, and nobody is told why. Staying in a call you want to leave out of politeness helps neither of you.

Keep your details to yourself

Your address, your workplace, your bank details, and anything you would not want a stranger to have. Nobody legitimate on Ronda will ask you to pay them somewhere else — that request is a scam every time.

Report rather than argue

If somebody is doing something they should not be, end the call and tell us. Arguing with them costs you your evening and changes nothing; a report actually removes them.

Is Ronda right for me?

Do I need to install anything?

No. Ronda runs in your browser, on a laptop or a phone. There is no app to download and nothing to keep updated. Your browser will ask for camera and microphone permission the first time, and you can take it back whenever you like.

Can I talk to someone who does not speak my language?

Yes, and it is the part most worth trying. Typed chat is translated both ways as you go, so you can hold a real conversation with somebody whose language you do not share a word of. You can also switch language mid-call, which is useful when it turns out you have a second one in common.

Is it anonymous?

To other people, largely yes — you pick a username and you decide what you say. To us, not entirely: everyone is age-verified, and the side that gets paid is identity-verified, because that is what keeps minors off the platform. What we hold and why is set out in the privacy policy in plain language.

What does it cost?

Time is bought in advance in bundles and spent per minute of actual call time. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Being on Ronda, waiting in the queue, and talking to people you have already added costs nothing.

Can I use it without a camera?

No. Ronda is a video platform and both people are expected to be on camera — a call where one side is a black rectangle is not what the other person queued for. You can turn your camera off briefly during a call, but not spend the whole call hidden.

Can I choose who I get matched with?

No, beyond the fact that the two sides are matched to each other. Choosing is what the rest of the internet already does; not choosing is the entire point of this. What you do control is how quickly you leave.

The rules

Short version. Break these and you lose your account, and anything you have earned.

  • Everyone here is 18 or over. Anyone who may not be, report immediately.
  • Nudity and sex are allowed between two adults who both want it. Consent can be withdrawn at any second.
  • Never open a call already explicit. The person in front of you did not choose you and does not know what they are about to see.
  • Never record, screenshot or share any part of a call. Not once, not for anyone.
  • The person on camera must be you, live. No recordings, no loops, no virtual cameras.
  • Nobody else in frame who has not agreed to be on the call.
  • No phone numbers, socials or other apps, and never ask to be paid anywhere but Ronda.
  • Never give, lend, rent or sell your account.
  • Be at your camera while you show as available, and answer the person paying to talk to you.
  • The shield button during a call stops you being handed to somebody new the moment that call ends. Press it before you show anything you would not show a stranger.
  • If you see something wrong, end the call and report it. We read every report.

Reports are read by a person. Serious ones are acted on the same day, and anything involving a minor is passed to law enforcement.

If something goes wrong

You can end any call instantly, and the person you end it on is not told why. Anyone you turn down twice stops being able to see you at all.

Reports about anyone who may be under 18, and about images or recordings of somebody shared without their consent, are looked at the same day. You do not need an account to file one, and you do not need to have been on the call — if you have seen something from Ronda anywhere else, that counts.

Want to try it?

Make an account, turn your camera on, and press the button. The first few seconds of every call are free, so finding out what this is actually like costs you nothing.
